During the pandemic, Black-owned businesses closed at twice the rate of their non-minority counterparts. And just 1.3% of venture capital went to Black founders last year. To bring prosperity to more Black communities, it’s vital we help diverse entrepreneurs start and scale their businesses across the US.

Join the Alliance for Entrepreneurial Equity and the Black Innovation Alliance on September 30 as we celebrate the CBCF Annual Legislative Conference with the Congressional Caucus on Black Innovation and honor Reps. Stacey Plaskett, Marilyn Strickland, and Ritchie Torres. The gathering will bring together champions fighting to close the racial wealth gap by increasing Black participation in the innovation economy. It will also highlight the importance of supporting Black entrepreneurs as they seek to start new ventures, find investment capital, and scale their innovative businesses for the long term.

Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be provided!
